This song tells the Christmas story; angel means somebody who brings the news and that's what the album's about: "I just want to be his angel". Long ago on the hills high above Bethlehem

This is the day of the Lord!”

This is the day God’s peace comes to the earth.”
“Don’t be afraid” the angel’s voice rang out to them,
“I bring you news of great joy.
God’s son is born today in Bethlehem.
Go leave your sheep now, go worship the boy.”
Down to the town they hurried just as they’d been told;
Simply believing everything.
Finding the baby in a stable rough and cold,
They knelt before the manger and worshipped the King.
And I just want to be his angel, and tell you he’s here
