Every year, our team lead hundreds of assemblies in schools throughout Bradford and beyond, using songs and stories to make Christian truths fun and accessible to children and staff. Primary... The running order for Primary assemblies is usually song-story-song. The team use a range of songs, many written by John and many with actions, with biblically-based lyrics that reinforce the message of the story. There is a CD available which features many of these songs, performed by John and children from 19 primary schools - click here to find out more. The story aims to make Christian truths relevant to children by building links between the Bible and their own real-life experience. It often takes the form of two parts, with a true-life anecdote followed by the Biblical story/passage it reflects. Where appropriate, assemblies may include a prayer. The team are always sensitive to children and staff of other faiths. In secondary schools, John usually performs songs from his studio albums or concert material. The talk may include speaking about the lyrics of the songs or telling real-life anecdotes and linking them to Biblical truths.

The team will also play songs as the children enter and leave the assembly. We are happy to lead assemblies with any size of group, from the whole school to single faith assemblies.
...& Secondary
The team lead assemblies both individually and together, and also with volunteers. The diary of assemblies is coordinated from the office once a term, with schools usually receiving two assemblies per term. If you'd like to discuss the possibility of the team leading assemblies in your school, please contact us.
