A Night to Remember
A baby’s born, in a cold Bethlehem stable, Just a baby and the world’s forever changed But all who saw the breaking news stood round amazed A night they’d remember all their days.
His mother watched as Messiah slept in the manger, The King of Heaven in the poorest place And she kept in her heart all these amazing things A night she’d remember all her days.
The angels sang and they were used to seeing glory But this was something, better than always Heaven’s guards had witnessed this earth’s saviour’s birth A night they’d remember all their days.
Shepherds called, hurried down the hill to town Could they refuse and sty, unmoved by heaven’s praise? Wide eyes saw and happy feet danced home again A night they’d remember all their days.
And as for us—will we hear the angels’ call? Come to him, let nothing be the same? Will this be the Christmas we come to Jesus ? A night we’ll remember all our days
