Our team can provide support in lessons across the curriculum, including in RE, English, Music, Art, SEAL and more.

Our team members make regular visits to schools to take RE lessons, talking about their faith and answering questions from students. As a former teacher, John can offer lessons focussing on specific areas, including music and Christianity. We can also provide support for RE lessons focusing on particular Bible stories or aspects of Christianity.
John hosts school visits to
Shipley Baptist Church, explaining some of the signs and symbols and talking about what it means to be a Baptist. We also produce a range of resources, including John's songs and Julie's Ben the Butternut Squash DVD, which may be useful for RE lessons.

"Thank you very much for showing us round Shipley Baptist Church. The whole class loved every single moment of the visit. It was fantastic, we learned lots and lots."
Alice, Year 3, Shipley CE Primary School

Between them, our staff and associates can lead lessons on music, drumming, songwriting, poetry, storytelling, and art, subject to availability. We may also be able to use these skills to support learning in other areas of the curriculum. If you are interested in booking a visit, please contact us.

Julie has developed some interactive sessions for small groups in key stage 1, using storytelling and other activities to explore the themes that form part of the SEAL curriculum. Please contact us for more information. She has also used storytelling to support specific topic work, including the story of Grace Darling and cultural folk tales.

If you would like to discuss how a visit from us could work in your school, please contact us.
